Kreek
Kids Ministries Shift Gears at This Year's
ALL STAR
Celebration
At
the end of each school year, Kreek Kids families and ministry
volunteers gather to reflect on ministry highlights, children's
accomplishments and to say
thank you to dedicated children's and youth staff. This year,
the event shifted gears to include a potluck dinner, giving
families an opportunity to meet and mingle with other AC3
families.
The celebration included a short presentation, food making
activities, a bouncy house, hands on racing crafts and the opportunity to
meet a real race car driver while sitting in his race car.
The Kreek Kids leadership team has been decorating and using the
theme, 'Racing Toward the BEST HOUR' to help bring
awareness and passion to their ministry vision over the last
several months.

Special Thanks to Nancy Maggiore who donated the
industrial quality bouncy house to Kreek Kids and to
AC3's Chuck Lacy for allowing us the privilege of
seeing, hearing and sitting in his winning race car!

Elementary
Curriculum ~ 1st - 5th Grades

Back by popular demand!
It's
a WILD and WACKY summer for kids during our 10:30AM
Kidz Zone program
Last summer,
we used a multimedia curriculum kit featuring the craziness of
Frank Peretti, as Mr. Henry. It was a big hit! So this
summer we are using new lessons from this WILD and WACKY series
that will teach kids unforgettable lessons on obedience, courage
and prayer. Children will have a chance to explore essential
Bible topics using creative Bible presentations, amazing crafts,
science experiments, high-energy games and more!
These fun and interactive Bible lessons may
include:
* Large group/small group activities for a truly dynamic
learning adventure!
* Wild & Wacky video and CD clips containing live-action
Bible stories segments
* Fun and new music that will get kids up and moving
* Other interactive activities, games and crafts
KREEK
KIDS ATTENDANCE...THE TEMPERATURE
IS
RISING!
During the last several weeks in our 8:45 am service,
Biblemax and our preschool classroom have reached and sometimes
exceeded our volunteer
ratios! Exciting but not SAFE. If you would like to help us
keep a classroom open when we are about to exceed our ratios,
please leave your name at the Kreek Kids Check-In center upon
arriving at church on Sunday mornings. If we need your help to
meet our volunteer-to-child ratios and to keep a classroom open, we will tap you on your shoulder
so you can help mind
the gap.
Other flexible scheduling options available. Let
us know what works best for you!
Check out our FAQ
web page for more information on volunteer ratios and other
questions you may have about Kreek Kids and policies. The Inside
Track is also a great place to find out more about Kreek
Kids ministries.

A New Look, a New Excitement in our Nursery
Do
you have a new idea or suggestion for one of our Kreek Kids
departments? Share
them with us! Our best ideas comes from parents and
volunteers like yourself. Sue Harvey, a key
nursery worker, shared an idea for a privacy curtain for nursing
moms and a more baby friendly crib. We now have both!
We
have also asked Sue Harvey to be our Lead Nursery Trainer
during our summer months as she has a desire to
impact young families and those serving in our
nursery department. She will
be sharing nursery and training basics as well
as current safety procedures. From greeting arriving
parents, to simple disinfecting steps, several key need-to-know
items will be reviewed.
An Incredible Movie
Night
On
May 6th, Kreek Kids ministries held an incredibly fun
family night for AC3 families and their friends. Families enjoyed watching The
Incredibles on the REALLY BIG screen and were treated to some
incredible popcorn and 'super hero' snacks.
Special
guests included the wild and wacky ACTS Man; the defender of the
early church who baptizes new believers so fast they don't even
get wet!
Super heroes from all over the Marysville area were zooming
everywhere! Special
prizes including an Incredibles clock, an Incredibles popcorn
tin, Incredibles sticker books and the Incredibles movie
DVD.
Special thanks to
Jen
Dobesh,
our Bodylife Director, and an INCREDIBLE team of parents
and volunteers for making it a memorable family event! If
you would like to help plan and serve at future family and
friends outreach events, contact Jen
