YEP 2011 ~ Boosting Our Signal
AC3's YEP (Year End Project) helps fill needs in different areas around AC3. Some years it’s missions-oriented – last year we collected money for supplies for Pakistan. Some years it’s focused on a particular need in the church itself that just couldn’t be squeezed into the budget.
This year’s Y.E.P. is called “Boosting our Signal” and it covers an array of much needed technology up-grades and repairs around AC3 that will help us get our message out with greater strength and clarity, both inside the building and out! The goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of February 2012.
Items on the list include digital signage for the Lobby, improved software for displaying media in the Auditorium, improved audio and video in the Wedge Room and an electronic information kiosk in the Loft. In addition, recording and video equipment will be up-graded to allow for quality production of CD’s, DVD’S webcasts, message audios and closed circuit broadcast of weekend services.
All of this (and more) will directly BOOST our ability to present the timeless Gospel in timely ways. More and more people are accessing AC3 resources on the web, and in the lobby so we need to be able to present them with high quality information and media where they are.
YEP falls outside of our regular, monthly budget, which means we ask that you make our YEP project above and beyond your regular, monthly tithe. This could mean for you that YEP falls under the category of “sacrificial giving”.
Please remember that every kind of giving is between you and God. Our church runs not just on our tithes, but also on our loving spirit of community and the gifts God has given us. We need all three to run AC3. So please pray and keep your heart open to where God is leading you whenever you give.
