Kreek Kids' Mystery Dinner Event 1/20/06


During January, AC3 families and friends were treated to a dinner event at Nancy Whew's Detective Agency. As families arrived Sherlock Combs, (Nancy Whew's cousin) invited them to help solve an important mystery. 

A light dinner of pizza and veggies was followed by an interactive skit where families were encouraged to solve four mysteries sprinkled throughout the story. By the end of the evening, children discovered that they were an essential piece in God's plan and that they too can get ALL IN by helping others with their time, talents and treasures. Children were invited back Sunday mornings to board Steward's Ship for three additional Sundays where they could continue to grow in their stewardship journey.

The evening finished with children using their talents to sing their new theme song 'Every Step I Make' and dessert, followed by children decorating 8" puzzle pieces to look like themselves and making an ALL IN footprint poster.

Upon arrival, families were fingerprinted and ID'd	Once they passed security, each child received a detective kit	It was an AMAZING message!

		STEWARD'S SHIP DOCKED IN KREEK KIDS Jan. 22, 29, 2/5  Children boarded Steward's Ship on 1/22, 1/29 & 2/5 (Sunday mornings) and discovered that stewardship and serving others with their time, talents and treasures can be fun! We had an awesome crew of teachers and helpers.
