All Stars understand that ministry is bigger then themselves. They know that ministry at Allen Creek works best when volunteers work together at different levels and in different capacities for the good of the overall mission of AC3. They willingly give 'a little more' of their time, gifts & talents to 'The Best Hour' at AC3, even when the going gets tough.

That's because All Stars know that a solid children’s ministry is vital to Allen Creek and that Kreek Kids ministry provides a two-fold purpose;

First, children will have the opportunity for personal faith discovery and development in a SAFE and exciting learning atmosphere.

Secondly, it gives our pastoral and programming teams the support they need by providing quality children care and Christian Education programs during our Community and Connection services. This means continued excellence in programming for their friends, family and the visitors who walk through the doors at Allen Creek.

Children's ministry matters! If you believe in the mission of AC3, join one of our All Star teams listed below. There are a wide variety of volunteer positions in Kreek Kids that will honor your time and where you can serve confidently using your gifts and talents.

MIND THE GAP

Mind the Gappers volunteer during one or two services per month. Some volunteers serve in whichever department needs them most on a scheduled Sunday morning.

These team members are committed to helping us keep our classrooms open and efficiently staffed.

Kreek Kids depends on the co-operative efforts of parents and volunteers working together in ministry.

PARENT PARTNERS

We have a simple once every 4-8 weeks helper option for parents.

Our Parent Partner program helps us insure that Kreek Kids will be the Best Hour in every family's week!

TAG TEAM & TWO BY TWO

Unlike traditional settings, we don't ask volunteers to serve every single week for a year but we do ask for a rotating block of time from our key leaders. Children learn better, behave more appropriately and feel more secure when key leaders are in the classroom on a consistent basis.

Don't worry! As a parent, we won't expect
you to teach (unless you want to) and we 'promise' not to leave you all alone in a
room with forty 3-year-olds!

Key Leadership is needed to work effectively as a ministry team. It is essential to have someone who learns and understand each Department’s vision, it’s learning objectives and the big picture for each age group. Directors are the main advisor, encourager and cheerleader for their department Grab your pom poms and join the squad!
