Youth Staff

From infants to senior high students, we realize that the job of raising and teaching children today is far bigger than any one of us can accomplish on our own! We believe a co-operative effort needs to exist between parents and ministry staff in order to insure fun and effective programs for children and teens. We depend on both parents and volunteers, working together, to help create a fun and S.A.F.E. place for kids on Sunday mornings and at mid-week youth events.

If you are a parent and call AC3 your home, let's chat!  We need your active support in order to maintain simple and effective programs. Our rotating schedules will honor your time and make volunteering easy. With God's help, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our children. Won't you join us?  Contact Twila at 360-659-7335 or at youth@ac3.org

Nursery Staff (birth through 3 yrs.)

Our nursery is staffed by volunteers who want to give warm and loving care to AC3 babies and their families. If it's your desire to make a difference in the lives of young families,  join the nursery staff.

Toddler Staff (potty trained 2&3 yrs. ~ currently no toddler class)

A child's primary way of learning is through their play.  If you are ready to get down on the floor and do some serious playing, the toddler team is for you!

Preschool Staff  (3-5 yrs.)

A team of teachers, parents and helpers introduce children to basic biblical concepts that teach them an accurate view of God and his creation.  Our curriculum uses an approach that repeats concepts so that young minds and hearts will grasp significant things about our great Creator!

Biblemax AV Lab
(1st-5th Grades) during Community Services
Biblemax Supervisors oversee our computer lab and Bible theatre. Children split their time between self directed and interactive Bible lessons on our lab computers and in our Biblemax theatre. Don't let the title of Supervisor scare you! This volunteer position is actually one of the easiest classes to volunteer your time in.

Kidz Zone (K-5th Grades) during the Sunday morning Connection Service
Teachers and small group helpers teach young students to understand the basics of the Christian faith through 'child approved'  Bible learning activities. Activities include; skits, puppets, music and interactive review games. Children also enjoy earning Kreek Kid Bucks that can be spent on a variety of items in the Kidz Zone store that is open once a month.

Saturday Night Adventure Club (Pre-K through-5th Grades)
A club style program that is held during our Saturday night Connexus service. There are a variety of ways to serve in the Adventure Club. You can become a story teller, game leader, book time listeners, help with crafts, become an adult or student buddy. We could also use actors and musicians.  Contact Trina @ trina@ac3.org for additional details.

Check-In and Safety Staff
As a ministry, we want to insure a safe and secure place for children. Our Check-In staff do just that!  Each week they direct children to their classrooms and help parents feel welcome as they sign their children in and out of Kreek Kids for the day.

Behind-the-Scenes Team
This team of volunteers help prep lessons, crafts, clean, sanitize toys and help with children or youth administration needs. If you have an hour or two available at home each week, this may just be the opportunity you have been waiting for!

Parent Partners
Kreek Kids depends on the co-operative efforts of parents and volunteers working together in ministry. Don't worry! We won't expect you to teach (unless you want to) and we 'promise' not to leave you all alone in a room with 40 3-year-olds!

We have a simple 'once every 4-8 weeks' helper option for parents. Our Parent Partner program helps us insure that Kreek Kids will be the Best Hour in every family's week!

Kreek Kids and Youth Leadership Teams

Directors and key volunteers meet monthly with the lead director to discuss the needs of their department and plan how to best meet those needs. These fun get-togethers can be one-on-one over coffee or as a leadership team. A directors primary goal is to encourage their volunteer teams, schedule staff and help implement department improvements.

Youth Staff (6th-12 Grades)
Mentoring and building positive relationships with our middle school and senior high students is high on our priority list at AC3!  We currently offer a Sunday morning class for our middle school students as well as Sunday evening and small group activities for both age groups. Volunteers and parents can get involved in either or both programs.

If you would like more information about a particular children's program,  youth event or ministry team,  please drop an email to Twila Crain and she will contact you shortly!
