Meet Alex
A Journey of Faith and Calling
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but my family soon moved to the deserts of Arizona, where I spent the next 25 years of my life. Despite growing up in the desert, I developed a lifelong love for ice hockey.
At 17, I made a life-changing decision to follow Christ and no longer live for myself. Shortly after, I felt called to ministry, though I initially ran from it to pursue a career in social work. Eventually, I surrendered to God’s plan and began an internship at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona. During that time, I attended Grand Canyon University to study Christian Studies and worked a part-time job at a local bowling alley, which is where I met my wife, Bri.
Four years ago, we moved to Washington, and we have absolutely fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest, especially during the summer. We are blessed to be raising our two beautiful children and to call AC3 our home.
Ministry, Coaching, and Vision
I have spent the last 10 years in full-time youth ministry, and in 2025, I reached a significant milestone in my journey when I was officially ordained. I am grateful for the privilege of expanding my focus to serve students, families, and our wider community. I have a deep passion for mental health and helping others experience the same grace and mercy of Jesus that transformed my life.
Recognizing that many people face roadblocks on their spiritual journeys, I earned certifications in mental health coaching and life coaching. I use these tools to help people better understand themselves and, more importantly, how God sees them.
My favorite scripture, which serves as the foundation for my ministry, is 2 Corinthians 5:17–21:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation... We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us."
Fun Facts
When I’m not working, you can find me:
On the ice: Playing or watching hockey (Go Silvertips and Kraken!).
Outdoors: Camping and fishing.
At home: Playing video games, board games, and embracing all things "nerdy."
I am so looking forward to getting to know you!
